There are many ways that people on this earth find each other and connect. The written word is one way. Whether it is a personal blog like mine, a book, or an app the human connection becomes global.
Our livelihood is more than monetary. It is nourished by commonality and community. It does not matter where you live on this planet because your journey will surely connect with others depending on the road you are walking.
I’ve shared so much of my personal journey through writing and now I have written the prologue to a book and working on the first chapter. Let me tell you that writing the story of someone else’s life is the most fragile exercise I have ever done. I want to get it right and celebrate something so beautiful. There is no timeline to finish this story but I am doing it.
In the meantime, I have gotten so much joy and laughter from Tiktok. I have cried for people I will never meet. I have celebrated with complete strangers. I have great recipes and I’ve purchased things I never needed because you’ve done a great job selling me!
As of writing this, the ban was lifted and it makes me happy because I love having a global connection with all of you!
