It’s Okay

Finally back to blogging. Forgive me for taking time off. I moved and it was physically exhausting and I was waiting to feel settled again. Moving sometimes uncover items you misplaced and I was excited to find my journal from my last trip to Greece with my mom. I felt I wanted to continue that journey here because it was a beautiful and bittersweet trip. I spoke about through my last blog story so I wanted that piece. Before I share that I wanted to kick off with a quote I heard from the young lady that got the golden buzzer on America’s Got Talent. It was so profound and she gave me the words that have framed my life and this blog journey. She fights a battle that may cut her life short but she sang about it in her song “It’s okay”. Then she said this “You can’t wait for your life to not be hard before you can be happy.” That will resonate with me forever. That’s why I’m here. It is why I write. So perfect.
